Health Update on Sritej: Signs of Stability and Recovery, say Docs

Sritej, the young boy injured in the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre, during the premiere show of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 continues to show steady progress in his recovery journey. According to medical updates from KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad, his vital parameters are stable without the need for external support.

Sritej has remained critical for several days, and his antibiotic treatment has been successfully discontinued. He is tolerating nasogastric feeds well, which is a positive indicator of his overall health. Additionally, supportive therapies are being administered to aid his recovery.

The boy’s agitative episodes and dystonia have decreased, though they are still present. His sensorium, however, remains unchanged. While there are moments of spontaneous eye opening and crying, meaningful eye contact or consistent responses to verbal stimuli have not yet been observed.

Doctors remain cautiously optimistic as they focus on providing the best possible care for Sritej. The reduction in symptoms and absence of fever are encouraging signs, but the road to full recovery is expected to be gradual.
