Marsela Ayesha styles Shahwar Ali's reel shaadi

It is not often that you hear of a wife dressing up her husband, to get him married to another woman. However, this is what happened when Shahwar Ali’s wife Marsela Ayesha happily dressed him up for his wedding to Urvashi Sharma, albeit this was an upcoming reel track in the show, Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma.  Not only did Marsela help Shahwar get his look right, she also participated in Shahwar’s reel wedding rituals. The crew members kept pulling her leg about being the only woman who willingly let another woman snatch her man.

When we contacted Shahwar, he said, “It was fun shooting my onscreen wedding in my wife’s presence on the sets. It helps that she has a sporting nature —Marsela enjoyed every bit of it. She even helped me get ready for the wedding. Incidentally, we had similar rituals during our wedding. We relived those  moments.” Marsela added, “I was thrilled to be a part of my husband’s onscreen wedding. Going out shopping for his wedding attire brought back memories of  of the time we’d gone out shopping for our own wedding. I will cherish this shoot for years.”
