Not too long ago, television actresses Nia Sharma and Rubina Dilaik were trolled by fans, when they uploaded pictures of themselves in a bikini on social media websites. Thankfully, the incident hasn’t deterred Surbhi Jyoti.

Says the actress, “It’s a free country and you can do what you want. I will wear a bikini when I am on the beach. I will not wear a saree or a lehenga or a suit, right? So, if I will wear a bikini on a beach, why won’t I wear a bikini for a show? I don’t mind flaunting my body. I am an actor after all.”

The Qubool Hai actress, who is also seen in Ishqbaaz further asserts that her priority will always be giving her 100 per cent to whatever role comes her way. Surbhi explains, “If I play a sex worker’s role tomorrow, I will do everything I can to do justice to the character. I am here to act and will do anything for a character.”

Surbhi explains that an actor’s onscreen persona often paints an unrealistic picture among audiences. She says, “People have no right to judge anyone. We, as actors, don’t go to our fans and tell them what they should wear. In our off-screen life, we are free to do whatever we want to.”

The actress is always in the news for her sizzling on-screen pairing with leading men. This time, it is no different. Her chemistry with Shoaib Ibrahim in her upcoming show, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai looks sensuous.

Point it out, and the actress answers, “Our characters Geetanjali and Abhimanyu are passionately in love with each other. People will remember this love story for ages. It’s not that we are going out of our way to present a sensuous chemistry. I guess if you are honest to your character, chemistry will always be there.”
