Fire breaks out on the sets of Badho Bahu

The cast and the crew were in a celebratory mood but the fire doused the excitement on the sets.

According to a source, the cast and crew members were busy shooting when the incident took place. The baby lights that are used for shooting suddenly burst resulting in a fire on the sets.

Fire broke out at about 3 pm on the sets of fiction show Badho Bahu in Mumbai. The show, which  has debutants Prince Narula and Rythasha Rathore playing the lead roles, premiered only on Monday this week.

The cast and the crew were in a celebratory mood but the fire doused the excitement on the sets. According to a source, the cast and crew members were busy shooting when the incident took place. The baby lights that are used for shooting suddenly burst resulting in a fire on the sets. Luckily the members were able to douse the flames with the fire extinguisher, thus averting a major tragedy.

The shoot was halted for half hour following the incident. Things were finally brought under control and the shoot was resumed. Prince Narula said, “Yes, there was a mishap on the sets as the lights burst and caught fire. But the production team had a fire extinguisher on sets. They immediately went into action and the fire was put off. Thankfully, no crew member was harmed during the incident.”
