RGV has now roped in actress Naina Ganguly to essay the role of Ratnakumari, wife of Vangaveeti Ranga.
Ram Gopal Varma is all set to start shooting for his upcoming film Vangaveeti, which is based on a true story that dates few decades back in Vijayawada.
The director, who recently released the first look of the actor playing the main character of Vangaveeti Ranga, has now roped in actress Naina Ganguly to essay the role of Ratnakumari, wife of Vangaveeti Ranga.
“Ratnakumari came to the limelight after Ranga’s murder. But I was in search of an actress, who can carry the role with great emotions,” says the director
She is also going to be the only female character in the film, says a source.
“The shooting is likely to start from March 20 and may take place in Mumbai as RGV is most comfortable there and the team did a lot of research about it.
Vijayawada has changed a lot, but the art team is planning to construct the same set in Mumbai,” adds the source.
