Apparently, the National-award winner states that Academy invitation made him feel more responsible.
A few days ago, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences shared a new list of its members for various categories. Included in the list’s VFX category is the name of VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan (along with visual artist Sherry Bharda). Expressing his joy on joining the elite club, Srinivas, who was the VFX supervisor for films like Baahubali, 2.0, and Arudhanti, states that the Academy invitation was a proud moment.
“The Academy was impressed with my earlier works, but I couldn’t believe that I would be invited to be a part of such an august club,” he says.
Apparently, the National-award winner states that Academy invitation made him feel more responsible.
“It gives me a great opportunity to interact with more foreign technicians and filmmakers and to share each other’s wisdom. As a member, it’s a great responsibility to be serving and contributing to the organisation,” explains Srinivas.
