Still from Shakti

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is testing his luck with his superhero film Shakthi (Hero in Tamil).

As a part of his impressive body of work, the Kousalya Krishnamurthy star has come up with yet another innovative script to amaze the Telugu audience. Shakthi, directed by P.S. Mithran (of Abhimanyudu fame), is said to be a take on the current educational system.

Talking about the Telugu release, Mithran states, “The whole rationale for releasing the film in Telugu as well is that we believe that the audience here welcomes interesting ideas. Since Sivakarthikeyan has a good following in the Telugu states too, we are certain that the film will engage the audience.”

Producer Kotapadi J. Rajesh adds that the movie will be an eye-opener for parents.

“Films like Shakti that mirror societal happenings will definitely influence parents and change the way they treat children”, he says.
