Hansika to romance Gopichand

It was reported earlier that Sampath Nandi is set to direct Gopichand for a new movie. The latest news is that Hansika Motwani has been roped in as the female lead. The film, which is being produced by J. Bhagawan and J. Pulla Rao, is in the pre-production stage.

The untitled flick is said to be a mass-entertainer, like Sampath Nandi’s earlier films Rachcha and Bengal Tiger. Hansika’s last Tollywood film was Power in 2014, as the actress has been busy with Tamil films. “Sampath narrated the story to her and she liked it a lot,” says a source close to the unit.
