Actors routinely put in a lot of hard work to get into the roles they play. Equally, they need to spend time away from the sets to rejuvenate. And for Ram Charan, the best way to revitalise himself is to go on a holiday.

The Rangasthalam star makes it a point to take breaks frequently so that when he gets back to work, it is with renewed spirit.

“A break might not necessarily be a holiday, it could be spending time with the family at home or catching up with friends or a get-together, it could be anything. I make sure that there’s a break after an extensive training or shooting schedule. I believe periodic breaks will revive me and get back to work fresh,” explains the Vinaya Vidheya Rama star.

Talking about training and workout, Charan, who is currently shooting for Rajamouli’s RRR, says people should work out accordingly to personal medical parameters.

It’s good to emulate and be inspired by someone, but at the same time I believe one has to work according to one’s body metabolism,” explains the Racha star, adding that he constantly reassesses his learning after every film.

“Although the result of a film is not in our hands, I have seen my father (Chiranjeevi) putting equal effort into every film. He advised me not to get disheartened but to look at failure objectively. I think that was one of my best realisations,” he says.
