Shriya Saran does an encore!

Shriya Saran is known to carry her roles with elan, and she’s been highly successful when it comes to playing a homemaker. After impressing one and all in the role of a traditional wife in Gopala Gopala opposite Venkatesh, Shriya is set for an encore. The actress will once again play a homemaker opposite Venkatesh in her forthcoming film directed by Teja. Shriya earlier played mother in Balakrishna-starrer Gauthamiputra Sathakarni and the Hindi remake of Drishyam. Apparently, Teja was fascinated with the way she pulled off such roles with great ease and authority.

“Since Venky plays a lecturer in the action-drama, the director believed that Shriya’s casting as a homemaker makes for a perfect match. He is hoping to recreate the magic in his film,” informs a source.

Meanwhile, the hunt is on for another actress to be paired opposite Naara Rohith.
