Actor Rajasekhar has walked out of his forthcoming bilingual project (a remake of a Kannada film), to be helmed by Pradeep Kishnamoorthy, after it ran into rough weather because the actor wasn’t satisfied with the corrections in the script.
Even as discussions were on regarding changes in the script, we have now learnt from reliable sources that the project has fallen through. The actor’s contention was that the filmmakers were planning to go ahead with a same script and characterisation of the protagonist in both the Tamil and Telugu films. Apparently, that didn’t go down well with him.
“Rajasekhar suggested changes in his character (that suits his image) if he was to take up the project. However, as the script was evolving, the actor wasn’t too pleased with or convinced about the minimalistic corrections to the script. As he wasn’t confident, he decided to back off from the project,” elaborates a source close to the development.
