We had earlier reported that actress Tamannaah has been roped in to play the role of Kangana Ranaut in the Tamil remake of Queen. It has now emerged that after elaborate discussions and story readings, the actress will be seen in the film’s Telugu remake as well. Interestingly, both the versions will have different directors.

“Revathy will helm the Tamil and Malayalam versions of the film, while Ramesh Aravind will direct the film in Telugu and Kannada. Amala Paul and Parul Yadav have been roped in for the lead roles in Malayalam and Kannada respectively,” shares a source, adding that Tamannaah is yet to sign on the dotted line.

“She agreed to be a part of the Telugu version too after listening to a narration once the story was adapted to the local sensibilities. Tamannaah likes how her role has shaped up despite a couple of changes,” the source adds.

Amy Jackson reprises the role of Lisa Haydon from the original for all the four versions. An official announcement is still awaited.
