Chief Ministers of the two Telugu speaking states K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu will attend the launch of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni.
The film, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, will be launched on April 22 at a private studio in Hyderabad. Apart from the two CMs, many other political and film celebrities will be attending.
“This is Balakrishna’s 100th film, a landmark in his career. The makers are also planning to invite every director Balakrishna has worked with,” says a source.
A big set has already been erected at the outskirts of the city and shooting will start from May. The film is about king Satakarni, the greatest Andhra ruler of the Sathavahana Empire.
