I want to perform in new capital: Sivamani

Vijayawada: “I will give performances at the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati,” announced A. Sivamani, renowned percussionist, player of many instruments and cine music mastero, on the occasion of his visit to the CCV&A, located in Madhu Malaxmi Chambers, Mog-alrajpuram on Wednesday. Mr Yarlagadda Harishchandra Prasad, chairman, Malaxmi Group and founder, CCV&A, welcomed Sivamani and briefed on the activities of the art, literary and cultural centre.

He said that 145 cultural activities including art shows, literary progra-mmes, handicrafts expos, dance programmes and Preserve Heritage for Posterity, a CCV&A initiative to locate the neglected archaeological sites or monuments and to sensitise the local communities in safeguarding them, were arranged for the past one-and-a-half years.

Mr Sivamani complemented Mr Harishchandra Prasad for his initiative in cultural activities under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes and wished that he would also give performances at the cultural centre. Mr Sivamani was acco-mpanied by Mr Vishnu Vardhan Induri, MD, Celebrity Cricket League, Mr Tirumala Srinivas, ED, Malaxmi Infra, Mr Sandeep Mandava, CEO, Malaxmi Properties & Ventures and Mr E. Siva Nagi Reddy, CEO, CCV&A.
