Bellamkonda Suresh denies blackmailing Ram
The producer clarifies that the rumours are absolutely baseless.
Just when all seems to be set for the release of Ram-starrer Vunnadi Okate Zindagi (VOZ), here’s an interesting gossip that’s doing the rounds. Rumours are rife that producer Bellamkonda Suresh has apparently intimidated Ram that he shall damage the film if the actor fails to return the advance, which he took a few years back. Ram and Bellamkonda delivered the super hit film Kandireega (2011). Apparently, the actor and producer duo were supposed to team up for another film Rabhasa, but things did not materialise.
Rumour is that Ram, who has waited for a few months for the said film, has taken an advance of Rs 1.5 crore as remuneration from Bellamkonda, and hasn’t returned it yet. With Ram’s film VOZ set for release on Friday, buzz is that the producer threatened to harm the film’s release, if the actor fails to return the advance. In foresight, both the parties have decided to settle the issue amicably.
Producer Ravi Kishore (Ram’s uncle) laughs off at the rumors. “I guess gossipmongers want spicy news and they cook up such stories.”Bellamkonda too shot down the rumours terming them as baseless. “I was out of station for the last few days and I don’t understand from where people create fake news and baseless allegations. If that’s the case, then everyone in the industry can resort to blackmailing,” he clarifies.
