Trivikram Srinivas pockets Rs 15 cr for Bro movie?
No doubt, the pay packets of leading directors and writers are hitting the roof these days. It is learnt that noted writer-turned-director Trivikram Srinivas has reportedly pocketed Rs 15 crores for just providing screenplay and dialogues for his latest film ‘Bro’ featuring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej in the lead. “He is very close to Pawan and guides him in picking the right movies,” says a source and adds, “Trivikram is surely cashing on his closeness with Pawan and minting big money,” he adds.
Usually, writers who provide dialogues and screenplay in Telugu movies are paid anywhere between Rs 2 to 3 crores, depending upon the budget of a star-studded movie. “This is the highest amount in recent times and it will be difficult for others to surpass this fancy paycheck in the near future,” the source points out.
In fact, director Samuthrakani himself claimed before the release of “Bro’ that Trivikram Srinivas after listening to his story, changed the script in ten minutes and assured to bring in Pawan Kalyan on board to play God of Time.
On the work front, Trivikram is directing Mahesh Babu in ‘Guntur Kaaram’ and announced another big-ticket film with Allu Arjun.
