Director V V Vinayak not in a hurry?
With young generation directors breathing down his neck, action filmmaker Vinayak wants to dish out a new-age action adventure.
Seasoned director V V Vinayak is not in a hurry to wield the megaphone and is looking for the right script. Although rumours have been making rounds that he would be directing action star Ravi Teja in a big ticket movie for quite some time. “He wants to come back with a bag but not surely desperate,” says a source, who claims Vinayak has been watching all the films and observing changing trends and also the taste of Telugu audiences. “He is keenly studying the reasons behind the success of a film and also the loopholes in the flops since he doesn’t want to take any chances at his point of time in his career,” he adds.
The 50-plus director who is known for dishing out action adventures like ‘Aadhi,’ ‘Chennakesava Reddy’, ‘Adhurs’ and ‘Khaidi No 150’ to join the top-league of directors in Tollywood. “He ventured into Bollywood with ‘Chatrapathi’ but couldn’t spin box office magic, so he is craving for a star-studded Telugu film to revive his winning streak,” he adds.

But he is looking for a strong ‘emotional tug' in the script before announcing his next,” he concludes.
