Janhavi Kapoor Speaking in Telugu at Devara Promotions

The release of the pan-Indian action drama Devara started Janhvi Kapoor’s journey in Tollywood by sharing the screen with NTR. The film, which is directed by Koratala Siva, also stars Saif Ali Khan who plays a crucial role. Devara is set to hit theatres on September 27 and the buzz is huge.
In the film Devara, Janhvi Kapoor plays one of the main characters, Thangam, who comes from a village. In a recent post on Instagram, Janhvi thanked her fans in a Telugu video which appears to have been very heartwarming. She also apologised to the Telugu fans, especially the ones who have shared their love for NTR by calling her ‘Janhvi Papa.” To this, the young actress said, “To see all of you pouring out such love for me is so endearing. I can imagine what role my mother will play in your life. Even you all were quite essential for my mom and for me as well. I am determined to ensure that all of you will be proud of me, and Devara is my first step towards that goal.”
Janhvi thanked the cast and crew of the film and in particular director Koratala Siva, cinematographer Rathnavelu and production designer Sabu Cyril for their patience in the course of the making of the movie. She also made it known that she was upset that she was unable to deliver her message at the Devara pre-release event but assured her followers that she would see them sometime soon. The Telugu audience was in thrall with her beautiful and fluent Telugu. This only added to the anticipation of her Tollywood debut.
Devara is one of the most awaited films of the year and even with these emotions and Janhvi Kapoor’s connection to the audience, it is self-evident that she is well-armed to take over the South Indian film industry.
