Kajal Aggarwal fails to draw in crowds?

Despite going all out to promote her maiden female centric film ‘Satyabhama’, Kajal Aggarwal has reportedly failed to draw big openings in the last two days. “It has just managed to collect Rs 90 lakhs plus in the last two days in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and it has to pick up faster,” says a distributor, who adds, “Kajal was looking gorgeous and impressed in action sequences but the contrived plot seems to have dented its chances,” he adds.

The much-hyped cop story was made with over Rs 10 crores and Kajal was hoping to become the flagbearer of women-oriented movies in Tollywood. “Industry bigwigs felt that Kajal could turn the tide for female-centric movies in Tollywood but it turned out to be disappointing. Besides, the film has to make more money in the first week and help producers recover their money, ;he points out.

Glam diva Kajal Aggarwal went in for a makeover to don khakis for the first time in her career and showcased her fiery side in a subtle but impactful manner. “She has to choose her next author-backed role with more clarity since the audience tastes her changing,” he concludes.
