Nani and Vivek Athreya Reunite for High-Octane Action Film

Hotshot star Nani seems to have realized that young director Vivek Athreya has enough potential to deliver a mass movie even before the completion of their latest film ‘Saripodha Sanivaaram”. “Nani expressed interest in working with Vivek once again while the action-adventure was in the making. Vivek is readying another anger-driven script for Nani and it would go on floors next year,’ says a source. Even though the director received several offers, he preferred to work with his favorite actor again since they found a matching wavelength, he adds.

Vivek made laugh-riot ‘Brochevarevarura’ and love story ‘Mental Madhilo’ and tasted success but his first film with Nani ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ failed to impress the viewers. “Nani trusted Athreya a lot and felt that he could handle an action film revolving around split personality better and he proved him right as their film ‘Saripodhaa…’ turned out to be a hit in Telugu states,” he points out. Unwilling to change tracks, Vivek is again penning a larger-than-life story to suit the growing image of Nani. “Nani is a new action hero and he is going to do a few more fiery roles to reach out to the masses,” he adds.

Undoubtedly, it will be one of the much-awaited movies in 2025 and the film will sell like hotcakes. “But they have to make the film within a budget, otherwise it would be a risky proposition,’ he concludes.
