Rajasekhar reacts to Kalki confusion in Brahmaramba theatre

With Prabhas’s much-awaited mythological sci-fi film, Kalki 2898 AD finally up on bookings in Hyderabad, tickets are being sold at a frantic pace for both the 2D and 3D formats with more than 60,000 tickets per hour being sold on Book My Show. Therefore, it follows that the huge demand is an indicator of how popular Prabhas also known as the Rebel Star.
However, confusion has set in amongst all this excitement because tickets were also made available at the same online platform for Rajasekhar’s movie titled Kalki which was released this year. Consequently, many fans mistakenly bought tickets for the old movie instead of reserving their seats for the new one. Because of this mix-up, Rajasekhar’s film looked as if it had been sold out within minutes thereby leaving social media users to speculate whether it was done intentionally to benefit from publicity surrounding Kalki 2898 AD.
Book My Show has now clarified that there was a technical error that caused Rajasekhar’s Kalki to appear on their platform. Furthermore, they have also given assurance to those who may have wrongly taken their bookings for the movie of 2019 will be changed into booking confirmation of Kalki 2898 AD instead. In order to put away such fears from their disappointed fans and make reservations easier next time around.
