Ram Pothineni with Miss Shetty director Mahesh?
Action hero Ram Pothineni is reportedly in talks with director Mahesh, who rose to fame with his light-hearted, yet bold entertainer ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’ featuring Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polisetthy. “Ram and Mahesh Babu have met a couple of times and are looking to make a big budget film,” says a source, who adds, “Mythri Movie Makers could be bankrolling this project, if everything falls in place’ he adds.
After working with seasoned directors like Puri Jagannath(Double iSmart) and Boyapati Srinu(Skanda) and Lingusamy (Warrior), Ram Pothineni seems to have resolved to work with new-age directors. “Ram was impressed with Mahesh’ work and could be sparing dates for the film once an exciting script gets into shape. In fact, Ram is moving in the right direction,” he points out.
Actually, Ram is awaiting the release of ‘Double iSmart’ to regain his winning streak and repeat the magic of ‘iSmart Shankar’ since he needs a very big hit to enhance his market.
