Sobhita Dhulipala’s pre wedding costumes decoded

Everything is ready for Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala to exchange vows on December 4, 2024, bringing together cultural, emotional, and family traditions. Hyderabad’s famous Annapurna Studios, a site associated with the Akkineni family, will serve as the setting for the marriage.

A unique attire and decoration concept Sobhita used for one of her pre-wedding events, her haldi ceremony, stands out: paying tribute to her maternal heritage by wearing family jewellery. Sobhita wore her grandmother’s jewellery and sari to make sure she feels close to her as she misses her on the big day.

Sobhita wore a yellow saree in the customary Telugu style with a plain white border for the Raata Sthapana and Mangala Snanam and looked stunning adorned with a set of gold ornamental pieces.

The set featured a slender necklace with a rani haar, jhumkas, a nose ring with decorative scrolling, and kadas made in dazzling designs. She complemented her attire with a bajuband that enhanced her appearance and fondly reminded her of her forefathers. She finished her attire with a French bun making it loose and her makeup highly natural with soft tones such as nude. With her close family members and friends at her side, there was a gleam of happiness around her which could fit perfectly in the mood of the fest.

There is a special reason as to why Annapurna Studios was chosen as the perfect marriage venue. It holds a special place in the hearts of many, given its history as the brainchild of renowned actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who is also the grandfather of Naga Chaitanya.
