Konkona Sen Sharma won Best Debut Director for her debut A Death in the Gunj' and notable names Nitesh Tiwari and Anurag Kashyap backed' her.
Anupam Kher won Outstanding Achievement Award for his contribution to Indian Cinema and his close friend Anil Kapoor was by his side.
Amaal Mallik, Tanishk Bagchi and Akhil Sachdeva won Best Music for Badrinath Ki Dulhania.'
Arijit Singh won Best Singer (Male) and his award was presented to Anurag Basu by Nushrat Bharucha.
Meghna Mishra won the award for Best Playback Singer for Main Kaun Hoon' from Secret Superstar.'
Manoj Muntashir took home the Best Lyrics award for Mere Rashke Qamar' from Baadshaho.'
