Hyderabad: Amulyam Hyderabad, a venture that is focused on wedding and corporate gifting segment will launch in its new Avatar at Road No 12 Banjara Hills.

Amulyam, co-founded by Sushanth Agarwal and Trishala Agarwal, will offer wedding gifts and tableware with unique, story-telling designs.

The couple's venture focuses on entirely Indian-branded products, crafted by local artisans using traditional methods. It incorporates ancient Indian art forms such as Pichwai from Rajasthan and silver filigree from Karimnagar.

The Pichwai collection, for instance, features intricate designs and depictions of Lord Krishna, while the Jodhpur series showcases the city's blue architecture. The Karimnagar silver filigree artefacts, famed for their delicate craftsmanship, add a touch of luxury.

The couple started their venture in a room before Covid. After four years of work, they are now a fully homegrown brand.

The business works with women cooperatives and artisan clusters. This ensures that there are no intermediaries.

Sushanth and Trishala aim to expand their offerings to other cities, targeting the substantial wedding market in India. With Hyderabad hosting approximately 3 lakh weddings annually, Amulyam sees a significant opportunity to cater to high-net-worth individuals and destination weddings.

"Hyderabad is a meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) destination city. It also sees many destination weddings. We see a great opportunity for our kind of products," said Sushanth.
