She’s single, charming and is already causing a stir in the literary community. Bengaluru-based bestselling author of The Deliberate Sinner and Mistress of Honour Bhaavna Arora is now out with her latest book, Love Bi The Way. She believes that love is like truth and everyone has their own version!

“Everyone’s truth or love or to make a choice to love is important and should be respected. The book deals with relationships between men and women and relationship in the same gender in the modern day world,” reveals the lady whose love for life is

Love Bi The Way is a romance comedy that will tickle your bones and at the same time sensitise you to challenges faced by love in our society. It has all its elements in the right proportion to give you a soul-replenishing recipe. It touches upon the unconventional topic of bisexuality, a controversial topic that may ruffle the feathers of moral guardians of society.

However, book lovers will enjoy the unusual topic it broaches and the keen wordplay. “My readers will meet a new Bhaavna this time. The Deliberate Sinner talked about a woman’s orgasm (weaved eloquently in a fiction form — a subject that is often ignored because of our social upbringing. I’ve done my bit to change the perception of my readers and the response has been tremendous. The book has also addressed infidelity and how it is perceived by the society when a woman commits it, vis-a-vis a man. Mistress of Honour was an intense, patriotic love story set in an Army backdrop; with operations, wars, insurgency, fighter planes, commandos and an unwed mother who wants to give birth to a child. Love Bi the Way tickles your bones and at the same time sensitises you to the challenges faced by love and lovers in the Indian society.”

Extensive research on the subject goes behind the scenes every time she begins to pen her books. With a foreword by Shobhaa De for her previous book, the author is known for her saucy and racy writing.

“Love Bi The Way deals with bisexuality, where a woman falls in love with a woman. Some of the love making scenes that I’ve described are already a talking point and have been genuinely appreciated by friends. Although I must admit that writing a love making scene between two women was challenging, as I didn’t want to make any compromises. I interviewed many lesbian and bisexual women and during the journey of self discovery, I realised that I’m bloody straight,” quips the professor (PhD in leadership) turned writer with a twinkle in her eyes and a dimple on her cheeks.

When she’s not writing, the girl of many passions states, “I’m a voracious reader. I also love to travel. I’ve also learnt horse riding and am very passionate about it. I love to swim, play various sports, drive fancy cars and bikes, dance and cook occasionally.”
