Rajkot:
School children in Rajkot, Gujarat, have made 16 feet wide and 6 feet tall Gandhi cap to create awareness about the cap's relevance.
Recently, the nation celebrated the 147 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, and to mark the occasion, children of the Panchsheel School made this cap.
As per history, in 1921, when Mahatma Gandhi started the Non-cooperation Movement against the British Government, this cap became the dress code of the Congress Party.
Gandhi wore the cap for two years after which the British Government prohibited its use.
