It is only through reading that one truly grows: Syed Habeeb
He leaves home after an ugly spat with his father; vouching to return only after turning all his aspirations into reality.
When Syed Habeeb, motivational speaker and leadership coach of international repute, decided to pen down his first self-help book The Warrior Within You, he was quite clear in his intent — to equip and enable young minds to unleash their innermost potential through a practice that’s familiar yet seldom touched upon: Neuro linguistic programming.
Gauging the pulse of the youth and working professionals of the modern global ecosystem, Habeeb’s inspirational debut read essays the life of Hatim, a young lad whose life is in the doldrums. He leaves home after an ugly spat with his father; vouching to return only after turning all his aspirations into reality. In a twist of fate, he encounters someone, who unveils a secret of world in a radically different light — helping him explore the creative power of the human mind.
Prod him with questions about what egged him to write the book, and pat comes the reply, “I am a staunch believer that the one who created us, gave each of us a unique and unlimited channel of potential. To explore this potential, our creator gifted us with revealed scriptures that encompass profound messages; through a few extraordinary beings. However, harnessing this potential or staying put, is a choice we make.”
In line with this belief, the author aims to bring about a radical shift to the thinking patterns and perspectives among students and young working individuals across the globe. “This book is inspired out of real-life incidents. And most importantly, the participants of my motivational seminars served as a main source of inspiration behind the inception of this book.”
Armed with over fourteen years of experience as an international speaker, serial social entrepreneur and success coach, Habeeb’s journey is one that finds itself to be heard. Born to a middle-class family in Belgaum, the author was a proactive youngster who overcame his shortcomings by facing challenges head on than play the victim to circumstances.
Undeterred by failure in his childhood and early adulthood, the author went on to pursue his true calling a la motivational speeches and the intriguing theory of neuro linguistic programming. Stressing upon the importance of reading, Syed says, “I strongly advocate the practice of reading and believe it is only through reading that one truly grows.”
