Students get coupons to visit Krithi Festival
Krithi book fair hosts around 136 publishers from outside Kerala, and 22 from the state.
As the second edition of Krithi International Literary Festival enters the sixth day, more and more visitors throng its venue to have a look at the huge collection of books on display and purchase their favourite ones. Kids also love the fair to the core as a variety of books of publications like Amar Chitra Katha, Scholastic, Tulika, Spider and Pegasus are exhibited in abundance.
The literary festival has also launched many initiatives like providing one book to every kid, under which students of various schools were distributed coupons worth ' 1 crore, donated by cooperative societies. Students from different schools of the state are flocking the book fair venue with the coupons and their identity cards.
Each student is given a coupon worth Rs 250 using which in addition to visiting the fair, they can also buy their favourite book.
