Do good, reap benefits: Rangam at Lal Darwaza
HYDERABAD: “There are ample rains, sometimes showers and at times excess rains. Remember the heavy rains that are creating havoc are because of your sins. The deity has asked every one of you to do something good for all others and ward off evil.”
That was the gist of the eagerly awaited Rangam (Oracle) at Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Devalayam in Lal Darwaza marking the conclusion of the Bonalu festivities here on Monday.
Predicting the future that awaits the state and its people was Anuradha, who is from the third generation of the Oracles family, possessed by the deity.
On being asked by the temple management before an overwhelming presence of devotees if they could execute expansion plans as the premises were getting congested, the oracle said, “Why are you not taking the forward step when I am with you? You people promise but don’t fulfil them. I promote peaceful coexistence and I shall protect each of you from all impending disasters.”
Meanwhile, while instructing the devotees to carry on with the five weeks of special pujas, she said all rituals must be duly followed in their houses for their well-being.
