Festive Wishes Ring Out As Andhra Pradesh Prepares for Christmas
Vijayawada: With Christmas dawning across the globe Monday, Andhra Pradesh's leaders joined the chorus of festive greetings, sharing messages of peace, love, and goodwill.
Leading the charge, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy extolled the virtues of Jesus Christ. He described Jesus' life as an exemplary model for all, highlighting his teachings of compassion, forgiveness, and charity. "May the blessings of that compassionate person be with the people of our state," he concluded.
At the Telugu Desam's headquarters in Mangalagiri, a joyful Christmas celebration unfolded. TD chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu cut a cake and extended warm wishes to the Christian community. Former ministers and party leaders joined in the merrymaking, their smiles reflecting the festive spirit.
From the Jana Sena, founder K. Pawan Kalyan offered his own heartfelt greetings. He underscored the significance of Jesus’ message of love, compassion, and forgiveness, emphasizing its enduring relevance in today's world. “May peace, tolerance, and generosity prevail on this holy day,” he wished.
Adding his voice to the chorus, popular actor and Hindupuram MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna extended Christmas cheer to all. He urged everyone to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, embracing compassion and love towards all. "Let this Christmas be a joyous occasion for everyone, filled with happiness and good wishes," he expressed.
