Hyderabad: Light rains in parts of state on polling day

 Hyderabad: As the state gears up for the Assembly elections, the Indian Meteorological Department said some places in Jagtial, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Mancherial, Medak, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Sangareddy and Siddipet could report rainfall because altered atmospheric conditions created by the recent cyclone in the Bay of Bengal.

Hyderabad is going to experience a generally cloudy sky, with misty or hazy conditions very likely to prevail during morning hours.

K. Nagaratna, IMD director in-charge of Telangana, advised voters to go to polling booths for casting their votes by afternoon.

Independent weather experts advised voters to stay informed about local conditions and take necessary precautions while heading to the polling booths.
