This vibrant colour can be worn with any dress pattern and it will still look good. “This season hot pink has appeared on the borders of saris. These saris can be paired either with studded, stone work or gold brocade blouse,” adds designer Reshma Kunhi who stresses on the fact that it is important compliment and co-ordinate this trend with the correct colour combination. To really make a statement, designer Nagashree suggests, “A plain hot pink top can be paired with a printed voluminous maxi skirt with a heavy statement necklace can really make you stand apart from the crowd.” Not leaving out the ethnic lovers, Prachita suggests, “Since it’s the wedding season, a hot pink
sari is apt. The pink and black combination although is a classic has been done one to many times and since navy blue is back in trend especially in the silk Kanjeevaram saris, it can be experimented with this as well. For those who want to steer clear of black, try dark colours like green, purple, navy blue etc.” Not over doing the trend is the key to nail this trend. Since this colour is so vibrant and eye-catching, jewellery can be kept to the bare minimum in the case of western outfits. Reshma adds,
“The hot pink element can be added to your outfit in the form of accessories as well like clutches, tassel or fringe earrings which is the trend now and also in the form of kitten heels.” Prints like floral, strips, checks etc to can be experimented with while sporting the hot pink outfits.
