The best of SAG Awards

2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) red carpet had us all captivated as the stars walked down the red carpet, inspiring us with the very best in contemporary fashion. Here are some celebs that made quite the impression this time around:

Lady Gaga looked simply magnificent in an ivory, fringed taffeta Dior Haute Couture evening gown from the latest haute couture show in Paris. She was a sight to behold. This beauty further donned herself with beautiful Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Collection winged earrings, bracelet and choker. The shredded details of the dress and the bold make-up made her a favourite amongst many in the fashion community.

‘Blackish’ starrer Yara Shahidi totally dazzled on the red carpet with her haute couture jumpsuit from Fendi couture in bubblegum pink with a sheer tulle overlay. The Cartier jewels completed the look perfectly. The charming ‘Grow-ish’ actor certainly was a head-turner in that beautiful and fun number, complete with a bejewelled collar and hundreds of crystals.

Another stunner at the SAG was Emily Blunt. She stole hearts in a glamorous custom made "peony pink" Michael Kors gown. It had intricate crystal work and a ruffle that became the talk of the town. According to some fashion commentators, the A-lister’s outfit reminded them of a vagina. Many debated over Emily’s look and choice of apparel on social media, while some applauded her “vagina cosplay” and were pleasantly surprised, others out rightly rejected the look. Her look was complemented gracefully by a Jimmy Choo clutch and Forevermark diamond jewellery.

Comedy series award winner, Rachel Brosnahan from 'The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel', looked chic and trendy in a beautiful pale greyish-blue frock from Dior. The dress was strapless and simple, which made her look sophisticated yet fun. She opted for velvet Jimmy Choo sandals in blue and Irene Neuwirth jewellery to complete her look.

"The Wife" actor Glen close looked effortlessly elegant and poised in a off-white, double-breasted suit by Ralph Lauren and Cartier jewels. She added her own personal touch to the ensemble by wearing a timeless ring of her grand mother as a tribute.
