While developers are using artificial intelligence (AI) to create better web products, one company has gone on to create beer with the help of AI.
Intelligent Layer, a London-based firm partnered with consulting company 10x to create IntelligentX, the world’s first beer brewed by AI.
The premium beer uses machine-learning algorithms that will improve the recipe and quality of beer, based on user feedback.

Questions based on your existing taste of beer, and your experience with the beer you just had are asked. Users are asked to rate the quality, taste and satisfaction on a scale of 10.
This information is then aggregated and sent across to the human brewers, who use feedback given by actual customers of the drink to tweak the recipe and turn the beers into better drinks, as per audience demands.
The beers have just been classified as golden, amber, pale and black and are currently available in ‘extremely limited editions,’ says the company.
