Ace zumba instructor Sucheta Pal shares of her class at Phoenix Marketcity, “It’s a pleasure for me as India’s lead master trainer to be able to share the joy of teaching an exclusive Zumba Master class.

The routines will be from my international master classes presented at US, Mexico, Germany, London, Japan, Singapore and US. I call my sessions the happy drug. The side effect of my classes is 800 calorie loss,  but the true value add is freeing electrifying joy.”

Talking about the unique Phantom workout that he’s conducting, coach Kristian Ebenezer says, “Phantom conditioning is India’s first fitness routine derived from various military fitness programmes. As part of the Uprising, I will be conducting this fitness regime that’s mad from the word go over three sessions from 7:30 am to 10:30 am at The OutFit. The Phantom is a state of mind, it’s we all know no matter how strong you are physically. It’s the mental strength to carry forward or withstand the hardship that makes you truly strong, both in life or at the gym. Phantom is all about mental conditioning where members are out to test with a set of rigorous workout regimes that’s been derived from various military and tactical forces fitness routine.”

‘Splash in and get challenged’ is this water baby’s favourite tagline and that’s exactly what she’s going to do with her session on the weekend. Crossfit L1 coach and a certified aqua aerobics teacher Fisaf Singapore, Bengaluru-based Pooja Arora will be taking aqua workout sessions at Waverly Hotel, VR Mall.

“I will be conducting aqua bootcamps. This ain’t your grandma’s aqua class, but will be an intense interval training in water. It’s a huge calorie burn, is loads of fun and at the same time your joints are safe due to the buoyancy of water. Being a Crossfit coach I use those concepts in water workouts making them challenging. One doesn’t need to know swimming to be part of this workout.”

Encouraging people to step out and enjoy their favourite sport is Aalok Bharadwaj, FeetOffGround who will be conducting wall climbing sessions at Play Arena. Aalok says, “We believe in sheer love for adventure and the outdoors. It’s going to be a speed climbing competition in two categories-for boys and girls (under 17) and for men and women. We want everyone to experience the thrill of climbing-be it natural rock or custom made sport climbing, bouldering walls or rope courses.”

Other venues for multiple sport events include NRA Grounds, Rail Wheel Factory Ground,  Kanteerava Stadium, Gamechangers, Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association  and Cubbon Park.
