1 Home-cooked meals are the healthiest. I survive on roti, dal and khichdi when I’m shooting. The simplest of foods keep me active and healthy.  

2 Staying hydrated is very important for the body. Fruit juices help keep fresh and cool down the body, especially in summer when the temperatures spike. Juices also add colour to skin and keep me looking fresh.

3 It is okay to indulge once in a while. When I feel like eating a dessert or anything unhealthy, I let myself eat and then make sure I workout a little more to balance it out.

4 It is mandatory to give your body some rest. Changes happen faster when your body is allowed to rest and not undergoing rigorous workouts everyday. I like to take the weekend off from working out and give my body the rest it deserves.  

5 I am a vegetarian by choice so I manage to stay healthy by consuming green leafy vegetables and colourful fruits. Brown bread and avocado sandwiches are my absolute favourite.
