Teacher gives class 101 ways to deal with stress' list

Alina Ramirez, a high school student in California, has shared an adorable “101 ways to deal with stress list” that her class teacher gave her and fellow pupils on Twitter.
Teacher Brett Philips has been winning praise from students and parents from around the globe after sharing the sweet list with his class to stop them getting stressed at this school year.
He gave the list, which has a mix of practical advice and fun ideas, to remind students to not take life too seriously.
Brett’s 101 tips vary from “getting up 15 minutes earlier” and always “be prepared for rain” to “buy yourself a flower” and have “a bubble bath” — and our personal favourite, “Tickle a baby!”
Alina tweeted her appreciation, saying, “My psychology teacher gave us this paper on how to cope with stress and thought I’d share it,” and even highlighted some of her favourite ideas which included, “believe in yourself” and “look up at the stars.”
The full list contained over a hundred ideas, some of which are:
- Get up 15 minutes earlier
- Prepare for the morning the night before
- Avoid tight-fitting clothes
- Avoid relying on chemical aids
- Set appointments ahead
- Don’t rely on your memory… write it down
- Practice preventative maintenance
- Make duplicate keys
- Say “no” more often
- Set priorities in your life
- Avoid negative people
- Use time wisely
