It seems that the newlywed Meghan Markle will be getting tips from UK’s Queen herself as she prepares to conduct her first joint engagement with Her Majesty in Chester,

The new Duchess of Sussex, 36, will be joining the 92-year-old monarch to open the Storyhouse Theatre and attend a lunch in the city next Thursday.

The royal pair will also inaugurate the Mersey Gateway Bridge in Widnes, Cheshire on the same day.

This is expected to be Meghan's first official engagement without Harry, and among her first appearances following their honeymoon.

Notably, Harry and Meghan have not been seen in public since Prince Charles' 70th birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace last month, just three days after their wedding.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the rest of the royal family during the Trooping the Colour parade this Saturday.

The pair are believed to have jetted off on their honeymoon last week, with reports that they have chosen Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Canada as their destination.

The pair are already scheduled to visit Sydney in October for the Invictus Games. The couple are expected to then continue their tour Down Under to include visits to New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

The newlyweds are also expected to undertake a couple of short overseas visits before the start of the summer, including a two-day visit to Dublin.

Interestingly, while the Duchess of Cambridge joined the Queen on several engagements in 2012 after marrying William, her first official engagements as a member of the royal family were not with the monarch.
