'Curious' teenager moved to hospital after inserting USB cable in his penis
The teenager inserted the cable 20 cm into his penis but later realised he wasn't able to pull it out again.
It’s quite natural for teenagers to be curious when they are growing up and there’s nothing wrong with exploring new things. But sometimes this instinct can get children into a lot of trouble if they aren’t careful.
A 13-year-old boy from China had a USB cable removed from his penis after he got it knotted in his bladder. The teenager inserted the cable 20 cm into his penis but later realised he wasn’t able to pull it out again.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors tried to get it out by applying lubricants but were unsuccessful. A urologist at another hospital found that the child cut one end of the cable and inserted it in his penis but it got tangled in the bladder and formed a knot.
They cut into his bladder and removed the knot after which the cable was pulled out the same way it went in. He claimed that he did it out of curiosity about his genitalia before being discharged from hospital two weeks after the surgery.
