Mobile truck in New York offers DNA tests on the streets
It also offers narcotics and alcohol assessment apart from determining paternity.
A man who wanted DNA testing to be more accessible to New Yorkers went ahead and set up a mobile DNA testing clinic in a truck in 2010. The recreational vehicle, emblazoned with the question ‘Who’s Your Daddy?’, also offers narcotics and alcohol assessment apart from determining paternity.
The ‘Who’s Your Daddy?’ truck is the brainchild of Jared Rosenthal who works at a health testing company called Health Street. He told ABC News that he decided to convert a recreational vehicle into a mobile office because of unaffordable office rents.
“People love the artwork-it makes them smile and they share it with their friends on social media and get in touch with people who maybe do need DNA tests,” he says. The prices of the DNA, drug, and alcohol tests range from $79 to $599.
