KISSS' of wellness
Fitness is a way of life. It is not something you do for sometime, or something you do on certain days.
I believe in the self-made principle of KISSS: Keep It Safe, Simple and Smart. It is how a workout should be… it can be challenging, it can be tough but it should be safe, easy to understand and done correctly, and be time efficient.
Fitness is a way of life. It is not something you do for sometime, or something you do on certain days. It has to be a part of your daily life and should be a part of everything you do. Also, keep yourself hydrated with water, raw veggies and fresh juices at all times — no matter what!
Exercising should be fun! There are a lot of different things that you can do in order to incorporate exercise into your regime. You can join a pilates class, go for a dance class, cycle, swim or go for a run. Try out a few different things and you will find something you enjoy. Only then will you be more inclined to sticking to your workout regime.
Fitness isn’t only about working out. Ensure you also pay equal attention to what you eat. Moderation is key. Make sure you don’t deprive yourself of anything — so do eat leafy vegetables, rice and eggs (always have eggs boiled at least. Never eat them raw no matter what your trainer says.)
While it’s not feasible to enjoy long hours of workouts daily, time constraints shouldn’t deter you. Even a 20-30 minute workout can be an effective one and help you keep in shape. So all you have to do is ‘Train Smart’ and be regular, come what may!
