Doctors delivering a baby are responsible for a very important task which many carry out with efficiency. But sometimes medical negligence can lead to terrible consequences, including death of a child.

After a delivery that went wrong ended in a child’s head being separated from the body, another case of a botched delivery has been reported. A woman in UK was left screaming in pain when her bowels fell out of her body after a botched up caesarean.

Kelly Maynard was rushed back to the hospital a day after leaving with her daughter as she claimed that her C-section scar wasn’t properly stitched. She said she had indescribable pain when she went home and later realised that her bowel had collapsed.

While she agrees that scars do open up, she claims that she felt her bowel moving around inside as it pushed its way out of the opening. Kelly claims she will constantly feel conscious about her body and the scar after the traumatising incident.

The hospital administration told The Sun that they recognised that the treatment wasn’t as Kelly wanted and apologised for the distress it caused to her.
