Jodhpur residents use cars for waste disposal
The dustbins are attached to their cars in which they collect garbage all day before dumping it at the dumpyard
There are many cleanliness drives popping up around the country and while most of them involve people manually sweeping streets, there are other cities taking a simpler yet effective route. Locals in Jodhpur are using their cars to keep their city clean and it has been quite effective.
According to a media report, the residents of Kamla Nagar in Jodhpur are making use of their cars to carry around waste and it doesn’t matter if the car is old or new because they use both a WagonR and even an Audi. The residents have attached dustbins to the back of their car and drive around the city with it collecting waste so that they can keep their city clean. They take the garbage at the end of the day and dump it in the common dump ground in Jodhpur keeping in mind the proper disposal of waste.
Interestingly, while Jodhpur was ranked 209 in the country for cleanliness, they are not leaving any stone unturned to keep their city clean and maybe rise up the ladder in the next few years.
