Tourist gets mean stare from deer while trying to click a selfie with it

Smartphones and social media have come together in the last decade to trigger a phenomenon which has transformed almost all aspects of human life, and the valuable experience of travelling is one of them.

Taking memorable selfies at tourist haunts with spectacular scenery is something most people do, sometimes it can get annoying if people just don’t realise when to stop. But while human beings have often been irritated by selfie crazed tourists, it seems animals too have something to say.

The disapproval among animals was apparent in the look that a deer in the background gave to a woman from Taiwan, when she tried to take a selfie with the creature. While the woman felt that she must take a selfie with a deer in the Japanese city, the deer didn’t like the idea.

She later posted the awkward selfie on a Facebook page and also wondered if she should have treated the deer to some food before taking the selfie so that it would cooperate. The image got thousands of reactions on Facebook.

Deers are considered sacred among locals in Nara, which is situated on Honshu Island in Japan and was the country’s capital from 710 to 784 A.D. and remains a popular tourist destination.
