Atmakur DFO Selvam told this correspondent that rescue team from Tirupati and Markapuram had arrived and going about their task. The human-animal conflict in areas adjacent to forest lines in Kurnool district has been a contentious issue. Forest officials said that a wood-cutter had informed them about the tiger.
