Video: Cops try to subdue 8-foot-long alligator outside supermarket in Texas

Alligators are among the most feared predators in the wild and no one would want to be caught anywhere near its powerful jaws. But things get complicated when the wild and our surroundings get mixed up.

Police in Texas were filmed trying to subdue a visibly furious alligator that turned up at a Walmart parking lot. The eight foot long creature made its way to the supermarket from a nearby pond.

The alligator was caught and is now in custody of Texas Parks and Wildlife as the video of the incident has been shared over a thousand times.
