Despite several studies suggesting that penis size doesn’t have a lot to do with sexual satisfaction, men across the world continue to take it seriously. People try everything from dietary changes to size enhancing devices for getting larger members.

The story of a Mexican man who refused to reduce the size of his penis even if he can’t have sex showed how it’s a matter of pride rather than sexual satisfaction in some parts of the world. Now a survey sheds light on how men from some places exaggerate aspects of their penis and places where men are modest.

The survey was conducted by asking men to estimate their penis size and then asking women about an accurate depiction of their partner’s size.

Australians were found most likely to lie about their penis size as the average estimation by men was 7.09 inches, as women revealed that it was actually 5.58 inches.

For Americans the average estimate by men was 7.24 inches, and women revealed it as being 6.64 inches.

British women revealed the average as 6.64 inches too, which was less than the 6.89 inches that men claimed.

Indian men on the contrary seemed to underestimate their member, as the average revealed by women was 0.23 inches longer than what men gave.

Canadians were seen as most honest with a 0.11 difference in the average estimate of their penis size by men and the size women mentioned.
