Who Is More Romantic Men or Women?
Here is what an international dating service discovered.
Whether you love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is here! As always, the world has got divided into the romantics who make elaborate plans to express their love and the sceptics who scoff at all the fuss. To understand more about the buzz around this time of the year and how men and women are celebrating Valentine’s Day, international dating service, OkCupid, reviewed the answers to some of the most popular questions on their app.
The questions were introduced to match people based on the kind of romance they desire in their lives. Due to gender stereotypes that we long been fed, we all assume that women go the extra mile just to make this day special while the men only recall that it’s Valentine’s Day at the last moment, if at all. However, the data gathered threw a complete curveball!
Surprisingly, men are more open to the idea of romance than women (mic drop). Yes, you read that right. The responses received on the app clearly break away from the stereotype and tell us that women today are far more pragmatic about V-day than stereotypes would have as believe.
But, love should be celebrated anyway and cheers to the men for breaking away from the stigma associated with being emotional and expressing yourself. Everybody, irrespective of their gender or sexual orientation deserves to love and be loved.
