Men have a harder time moving on from break-ups than women
The study said that men feel loss more and for longer as they compete to replace what they lost.
Being in a relationship comes with a lot of things to take care of but the end of a relationship is something that can be much more difficult to come to terms with.
Although it’s widely believed that women find it harder than men to move over break-ups, a new study reveals that people might have been wrong all along and it’s actually the other way round, since men are the one’s who find it difficult to leave it in the past.
The study conducted on divorced couples showed that while women showed more extroverted behaviour and it was men who showed emotional instability and conscientiousness.
Another study described the impact of a break up as greater on men since they feel a larger sense of loss along with the need to compete for replacing what they have lost.
